Parthasarathy Nemani, widely known as Parthu, is a renowned Indian Telugu playback singer, music composer, and performer, celebrated for his deep-rooted classical music background and significant contributions to the South Indian music industry.

 

With a repertoire of over 100 film songs and 2,000+ private tracks in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, and Kannada, Parthu stands out for his versatility and artistic excellence. His melodious voice and emotive singing style have made him a household name among music lovers.

 

Parthu is also one of the few Telugu playback singers to perform on international stages, showcasing Indian music to global audiences. Recently, he made his debut as a music director in a Telugu film, further expanding his creative horizons. In addition, he has composed music for several fusion and devotional albums, blending tradition with innovation.

 

Beyond the recording studio, Parthu has made his mark as a live performer, TV host, and jury member on various music-based reality shows, earning respect for his musical insight and engaging presence.

Parthu Nemani began his journey as a music director with his debut in the film Nandeeswarudu, and has since composed music for a total of six feature films.

His talent as a composer is further reflected in his work on over 100 private albums, spanning a wide range of musical styles and showcasing his creativity and versatility.

Some of the most revered playback singers in Indian cinema — including Sri S. P. Balasubrahmanyam, Smt. S. Janaki, Smt. K. S. Chitra, Sri Mano, and Sri Unni Krishnan — have brought life to Parthu’s compositions with their iconic voices.

A career highlight includes his contribution of two acclaimed songs to Swarabhishekam, the celebrated film by Kalatapaswi K. Viswanath. Among them, the track "Kudikannu Adirene", sung by Sri S. P. Balasubrahmanyam, remains an enduring favorite.

Early in his career, Parthu also served as the first composing associate to the legendary Tollywood music director Mani Sharma, gaining valuable experience that helped shape his musical journey.
